C urrent RMS demonstrated rental management solutions for all sizes of Event, Marquee and Party Hire businesses on Stand 48 in the Exhibition Hall. Visitors to the stand had the opportunity to run through key features within the software and meet the team who built the products and support them. Visitors were also able to have a go on Current RMS themselves, displayed across various devices on the stand, demonstrating how simple and intuitive the system is to use. Matt Turner from Clownfish Events Ltd even returned to the stand to demonstrate it back to us.
Current RMS won ‘best stand’ for me this year at The Showman’s Show. It’s a product that totally sells itself; I was blown away by the feature-rich software, the attention to detail and the ease of use. I’m a week into Current and loving it. The soft (and not hard) ware is similar to their team – organised, well presented and easy to get on with – exactly the sort of product and people you want to do business with. They even gave me a branded mug!

Lance Show and Publications Ltd, who run The Showman’s Show, put on a welcoming drinks reception for all exhibitors at the end of the first day, a chance to meet other event rental professionals and catch up with familiar faces. It was also the first year of The Festival Supplier Awards, organised and hosted by the Event Industry News Team. 350 attendees supported and took part in this new awards ceremony, designed to give recognition to the best suppliers in the ever growing festival industry.
