W e’ll once again be exhibiting alongside some of the top global AV, Lighting and Staging specialists, where we’ll be showing off some of our newest features, tailored for the rental industry. Last year was PLASA’s incredible 40th anniversary celebrations - for those of you that attended, you’ll know it was a lot of fun. We can’t wait to see what’s in store this year at the show, and to catch up with some of our amazing customers and meet some new faces looking to move their rental business to the cloud.
Located at the Olympia London exhibition hall, the beautiful Victorian venue is the perfect backdrop to frame some of the latest up and coming technology in the AV, Lighting and Staging world. There’s expected to be thousands of visitors, with over 200 exhibitors confirmed. Here’s just a little glimpse at what you can expect to see…
New Current RMS features for the rental industry…
You might have already spotted, but we’ve been busy the past 12 months working on some brand new features that we can’t wait to show off. We’ll be on hand to run through some of our latest software updates, and will be offering demos of our rental management system on stand.
Every new feature has been suggested and developed based on our users’ requests on our Customer Wishlist. We’d love to show you around some of the headliners we’ve released since last year’s show, including Do a Deal, which allows you to apply a deal price straight to your opportunity with Current intelligently distributing the revenue between your items, and Choosing Accessories, letting you select exactly which accessories you’d like adding to a job with their real-time availability figures on hand.
Exciting technology and seminar sessions…
As always, there’s lots scheduled during the show for visitors to drop into. From seminars on a range of industry related and developing topics, to live demonstrations of the latest tech, there’ll be something for everybody’s area of interest. The London show also plays host to PLASA Awards, with the entrants to the Award for Innovation on display throughout the three days.
We also recommend taking the time to sit in an industry seminar or training session. Some of the talks scheduled for this year’s show include advice on starting a small business from the ground up, and the role imaginative lighting design can play in the creative process of upcoming projects. Plus, PLASA are continuing their mental health awareness series with a number of seminar sessions about this hugely important issue.
We’re also really looking forward to checking out some of the stands of the biggest brands and manufacturers in the industry, including Philips, Bose and more. Robe will be showing the Multi Device Control feature of the RoboSpot, and you’ll be able to get a first hand look at new Maverick Storm 1 wash fixture from Chauvet. There’ll be loads more unmissable products on display too!
